I love Washington County and the people who live here. I have a servant’s heart, and I am committed to addressing the evolving challenges faced by our law enforcement community. I have always said we, as a law enforcement agency, are extensions of our communities and not separate from them.  That is why I, and we, will be accessible to Washington County residents, and committed to answering your questions, addressing your concerns, and collaborating with you to build upon our community partnerships.

I have over 20 years of experience in supervisory and management roles in law enforcement, local government, and at the federal level. I know this county, and I know what it takes to make the sheriff’s office better. I have a servant’s heart and the leadership traits to lead this organization in a fair, productive, and balanced way. I also know I cannot do this by myself, nor do I pretend to think so. There are good, smart, professional, and dedicated people who work for the Sheriff’s Office at all levels, and their input and insight are invaluable. I will not forget who I, or we, work for or who we serve.

With me, there will be a fresh start, with new ideas, and a positive path forward!
